MAGIC WORKSHOP * MAGIC BOB 3.45 PM
Magic Bob will teach you a series of magic tricks in a one-hour workshop that will keep you amused and confused for the rest of the Easter holidays. Keep practising and take away some notes on magic dealers, magic books, and web-sites to further your research. Adult £4.50 Child £4.00

SAT 18 MAR
FUNKY PUPPETS WORKSHOP * SMPC 10.15AM – 12.15PM
How wacky, comic and colourful will your puppet be? What will you make? A workshop that always delights. Go home with a puppet and start your own puppet show. Adult/Child: £6.00

SAT 01 APR
THE SOAPY PUPPET WORKSHOP * POPPY’S PUPPETS 10.15AM – 12.15 PM
Easters just around the corner so why not join in some Easter puppet making fun with Poppy’s Puppets. Learn to make a felted glove puppet, with not a stitch in sight. Will you make an Easter Bunny or Chick, which will it be, hopping out of the Puppet Centre. Adult/Child: £6.00

Saturday Shows
SAT 14th JAN STORMWATCHER-TALES OF A BEACHCOMBER * CLYDEBUILT PUPPETS 2.00 PM
A beachcomber searches the shore each day for anything useful – rope, bits of wood, old shoes, and broken fish boxes. With these he tells the stories of King Canute, The Fisherman’s Wish and The Lighthouse Keeper. Three tales which explore the different moods of the sea.


SAT 21 JAN THE WITCH, THE WIZARD & RED RIDING HOOD * TALKING HEADS 2.00 PM
Little Red Riding Hood is going to visit Granny Smith, but Halitosis the Witch has other plans… Will Randalf the Wizard save the day? Watch out for Cheeky Robert too, he’s very cheeky.


SAT 28 JAN THE FROG PRINCE & OTHER STORIES * KIDGLOVE PUPPETS 2.00 & 3.45 PM
Naughty Princess Stephanie has no time for a slimy, ugly frog….until she needs his help! She learns her lesson just in time to marry a handsome Prince. Join in and enjoy this and other stories, including Goldieocks and the Three Bears and The Three Billy Goats Gruff.


SAT 04 FEB THE UNDERGROUND PRINCESS * MOUSETALE PUPPETS 2.00PM & 3.45PM 
The prince in the mole kingdom, needs Oscar’s help to find beautiful Princess Emily, but the evil rat, Snotter, has plans of his own… Can Oscar beat him in this quest? Armed with nothing but a cream bun and an electric guitar, Oscar is determined to have lots of fun along the way.


SAT 18 FEB YUM & YUK* SOKOBAUNO THEATRE 2.00 PM & 3.45PM
The topsy turvey adventure of two Seatle Indians and their search for the simple things in life including friendship. Table top puppets used to great effect with original music and simple language. This show works for children with only a small command of the English language too.


SAT 25 FEB OUT OF THE FRYING PAN INTO THE FIRE* SYLVIA TROON 2.00 PM
Fact and legend meet when the gigantic Boulder-Man appears….intending to cook his supper on a nearby volcano. See how the landscape has been shaped by its turbulent past and understand that rocks are full of information. Puppets, story telling, music, and audience participation.


SAT 04 MAR MAGIC EGG –STRAVAGANZA * MAGIC BOB 2.00 PM
It’s nearly Easter after-all, so which bag of magic tricks will Magic Bob bring this time? Fast funny and full of magic. The ever popular, Magic Bob returns with his highly skilled craft of close-up magic along with audience participation Can you work out how he does it?


SAT 11 MAR
UTTER NONSENSE* BLUEBOAT THEATRE 2.00 & 3.45 PM 
In partnership with the Miller Glasgow International Comedy Festival

Uncle Henry’s lost his sense of humour! Meet Horace, a bug who’s crawled his way to stardom. Encounter Dougie the World’s Richest Duck and Sigmund, who leads Uncle Henry on the most dangerous journey of all… Don’t miss Mark Pencak in this special double bill, this week and next. Comedy at its best, featuring puppets, pop-up illustrations and special effects.
